Handmade jewelry made
with handmade paper.

All of my jewelry pieces are made with 100% sterling silver, and
water resistant to withstand the elements and daily ware.

Jewelry care:

This handmade paper jewelry is DURABLE and WATER RESISTANT to withstand the elements and daily ware. I hand produce all of my paper using the inner bark of a Philippine banana plant. Each color is hand mixed with durable pigments that naturally bond to the paper pulp. The paper is colorfast and has a resilient memory. If for some reason this paper jewelry becomes completely wet, either place it in a safe, flat place to dry or continue to wear it (with care). The paper wants to return to its initial form, and will shrink back!

Be ATTENTIVE when traveling with these adornments. While strong, the paper can be punctured, stretched, and is slightly affected by major changes in humidity levels. When transporting, please be sure to carry separate from all other adornments; small tins (such as Altoid containers) work perfectly!

orders

My website is still in the making.

In the meantime, I will happily make custom orders.

When placing your order please identify the style, chain length (if applicable), and color. Each year I have a new color palate; not all of the exact colors identified in the images above are available but a comparable color is available upon request.

Orders can be emailed to me at tiakramer@gmail.com.

artist bio

about me

I am an installation, sound, and adornment artist who has been integrating handmade paper into my artwork for the last eight years.

Jewelry making emerged from my love for art in everyday life, and is directly influenced by my sculptural experiments. Originally from Iowa, I studied art Macalester College, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
I have been making and selling paper jewelry for seven years.

Currently, I sell my jewelry work at galleries and boutiques across the country, including: the Minnesota Center for the Book Arts, Quirk Art Gallery, Revival Boutique, at my hometown gallery: Outside the Lines Gallery in Dubuque, IA. I also sell pieces at art fairs around the globe.

At present, I make all of my work in Antarctica.
